ive tried everything from cleaning the spout to filling it up completely. i had to put a bowl under it to catch the water. the washer is fine and set perfectly in it and ive tried setting it differently. its stops for a bit but once it gets down really low it drips again. ive tried bowls with flopsy but she either flips them over or gets water up her nose.

It’s probably losing its vacuum. Fill it up, turn it right side up over the sink, then push the ball in and let the water out into the sink until the flow slows. Take your finger off the ball and there should be a good vacuum going. If not, the bottle might be getting old. It’s crazy how quickly they can “wear out”, even when the washer is perfectly fine.

I would try water bowls again. I too had a drippy bottle and it never really bothered me until I switched to bowls and saw how much neater they are lol. Buttercup got it up her nose to start with but she soon realised not to stick her nose in

I tried all different kinds of water bottles, round, flat backed and glass before giving up for all the leakage and switching over to this style of water bowl. It attaches to the back of the cage so can not be flipped. About $7 and worth every penny If you find yourself unable to switch over, placing a brick underneath the water bottle can help absorb some of the water and reduce the wet mess around in the cage some Good luck!

Thanks everyone and I tried what Toby said and yea it lost its vacuum to it but it stopped dripping. Which is weird it’s not even a year old yet. I think I might switch back to bowls and get her that hook on crock bowl sea turtle posted. As long as flopsy doesn’t nose dive in the bowl lol.
