Both rabbits I’ve had have had favourite bands and TV shows.

Ted loved Spongebob Squarepants. If he was feeling anxious, I played it for him, and he settled right down (boy, did we get sick of it), and he enjoyed listening to dubstep. Whenever the bass dropped, he’d binky all over the house.

Buffy is a little princess on the other hand. She does bunny 500s whenever I watch Project Runway, and sometimes she’ll snuggle on my lap to watch it with me. She gets excited when I listen to pop music (like Britney Spears or Marina and the Diamonds), but she also likes Green Day and Blink 182.

Do your rabbits like listening to music and watching TV with you? What are their fave shows and bands?

Bleu loves How to Train Your Dragon 2, for whatever reason. If I put it on he’ll hop over and lie down to watch it.

The buns will also watch things like Coraline or Book of Life or any brightly coloured movies, so we keep a stack near the portable DVD player for them.

Theo has an attraction to any bright colored anime. So whenever I watch a show near him he hops up on the couch and licks the screen. He also likes Panic! At the disco music( I dont blame him haha). Probably because mommy blasts it all the time but he settles down whenever I play The Ballad Of Mona Lisa.

Haha I love to test out music for Bill and see if he reacts. There are songs he that ignores and songs that he obviously reacts to. Bill loves Night Changes by One Direction and binkies/scampers around to it. The first time Bill heard Always Be My Baby by Mariah Carey, he periscoped for almost the entire song and cocked his head as if to listen carefully. Bill lies down with eyes half closed and facing the TV to listen to When You Believe by Mariah Carey too. My Mariah Carey playlist is my go-to safe bet to calm down my current & previous bunnies. I think all the cooing in Mariah’s songs soothes bunnies. Some faster paced songs makes Bill want to chew on hay, which is great for encouraging him to eat more hay. Strangely, he doesn’t seem to react to classical music or jazz.
