So long story short because i am a animal lover and now recently madly in love with my new bunny girl blake. I have decided to keep her second litter. Mainly due to the fact people i rehomed her first accidental litter to (i thought she was male) they all have started rehoming and selling them so after convincing the hubs to let me use the garage as a bunny area he said yes. I have called out someone to inselate the garage and pricing out the cost of a ac or heater. I believe it is already insulated because we once had it as a kids play area. I know i will have to separate males from femals. I also found a vet who will spay and neuter and let me do payments. Which is great for me sorta lol the plan is do all the males the. We will work on femals. The approx amount of bunnies i will have is 6. Any ideas on how to successfully convert my garage???

Hiya! How brave of you taking on 6 bunnies! It’ll be adorable having them all running round though What’s the floor like? I know some garages have concrete floors – if this is the case make sure there are rugs covering the floors so they don’t get sore hocks. I expect the cheapest way to separate them all would be by using x-pens surrounding an main exercise area. How big is the garage?
Good luck and send pics of what you end up doing xx

Yes we are laying down carpet now, we found some that was really affordable on craigslist. Currently we are shelving and spraying the garage for bugs. I know this is going to be a long process but we have been doing a littlw day by day.

So update: carpet is in but it is still cold inside the garage even tho we have insulation i think their is a gap or opening somewhere. We have started placing all the storage stuff up on shelves and made only half the garage the bunny area and other half kids play area (ages 3 and 1). I was thinking of getting the play pens or like dog pens and setting those up but insure how that would look. But thats where we are at so far lol.
