Okay so since bunnies are social animals and it’s best to have two, what will I do since I only am able to have one. Charlie is almost two and gets a lot of play time, will he be fine living alone?

I only have one – also named Charlie. He seems to do okay and honestly at this point i think he would take a long time to adjust to a friend because he’s so used to being alone and having me to himself. I just am sure to always spend a lot of time with him. If i’m home, he’s out and at night he’s always sitting with me. I don’t want him to feel lonely so if I’m not home until 11:00 one night, we’re up watching netflix together or something until 3am lol. I think if you spend a lot of time with him and give lots of play time he’ll be fine
I also tried giving charlie a stuffed animal friend and he LOVED it. he groomed it like another bun, so that’s always something you could try if youre really worried

My bunny is super happy living alone! Of course you should not only have one rabbit if you have limited time to stay with him daily. But I literally spend everyday with my Lilo girl so she’s fine and so your bunny will probably be too! ?

Having had both single rabbits and a pair, I highly recommend rabbits in pairs, but I don’t see it as a requirement providing your rabbit gets plenty of regular interaction with you throughout the day. A rabbit kept outside in a hutch on its own is going to be far more lonely than a rabbit kept indoors around the family where it will get more interaction and attention

As long as you give him lots of play time and attention I’m sure he’ll be fine. Is he a free roaming bunny?

I only have one bunny. I had two, but one passed away. They weren’t bonded. I’m afraid to get another rabbit because Bam seems so much happier now as an alone bun – but that’s of course because he and my other rabbit were enemies. As a rule everybunny likes to have a friend – but not all buns will be friends.

He has a room that he is allowed to run around in
