        Hello,
I have a question about burgess Timothy hay. I was considering buying it but I need to know if my rabbit would like it. If anyone has had experience with burgess Timothy hay, is it a stalky, crunchy type hay like king alfalfa Timothy hay as my rabbit prefers that type of hay and not soft grassy type hay.

        Thanks

I’ve only got experience with the Timothy Hay with dandelion and marigold. I wasn’t impressed tbh and neither were my bunnies (they are pretty fussy though) The batch I got was quite soft and grassy but also really thin. It wasn’t particularly green either.

Oh thanks Sarahthegemini that’s good to know before purchasing☺️.

Does anyone have any suggestions of companies that sell Timothy hay for rabbits at a good price?

            Thanks?

I swear by oxbow hay which I get from amazon – quality is fab, although never had the Timothy one as Theo gets orchard grass hay

I usually try to get 2nd cutting Timothy hay (in between hard and soft hay), but I did buy Oxbow Timothy hay twice and both times it was of the stalky/crunchy type you are looking for.
