it’s with a heavy heart that I say rosie did not make it through her spay this past Thursday. it was very unexpected as this vet is very very familiar with rabbits. the vet assured me that this is the first time something like this has happened there. they think she had a pre existing heart condition. we had her for 25 days and the pain still made me sick to the stomach. I hadn’t ever expected something like this to happen. thank you guys so much for being such a loving community. I deal with pain in such strange and unpredictable ways, as we have already rescued another rabbit from an unhealthy home at a store nearby us (the shelter near us does not get rabbits in very often and we had checked as we would always choose to adopt first) In no way will I forget rosie and how wonderful of a bunny she was even for the short time we had her. I know she is at peace. thank you in advance for all the thoughts and comments I’m sure I will receive in her memory.

I’m so sorry that you lost her. She was such a pretty little girl and she got such a loving home with you. Thank you for taking in another bun who needs you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I’m sure Rosie is in a better place now. But you were so kind to adopt another bent that needs you. Rosie needed you, but now she’s good on her own. Now it’s time for you to help another bunny. ?
