Aspen started sneezing about a month ago, I called the vet and they gave me antibiotics. She never really completely stopped sneezing. She sneezes maybe a couple times a day, and just one sneeze. Should I be concerned? No runny nose or eyes, eats, drinks, plays, poops, pees normal. Could it be the hay or litter Im using? The hay is Oxbow timothy hay and living world fresh n comfy litter.

Probly hay or litter dust. Or even stray hairs from shedding

Scooter does that too. just a sneeze here and there. I can’t imagine its anything serious, as he doesn’t exhibit any other signs of illness. He’d still run around, jump onto things, and binky all the time.

I agree that it could be dust from the litter or hay. You could try changing litter to a less dusty brand, or even try switching the brand of hay you buy, or the type of hay (such as to orchard grass) as some rabbits may be sensitive to one but not the other.

I’m sure it’s normal , my bunny sneezes here and there and sometimes has little sneezing spells where she sneezes like four or five times in a row. I think it just might be the hay, she digs at it in the hay rack and I think the digging kicks up dust.

When I first got my bunny, she sneezed all the time. I thought it was because of all the new scents. She did this for about two months, but when I took her to the vet, the vet said everything was great! So I wouldn’t worry about it! ?

My rabbit sneezed once for the two months I have had her. I would say it is normal! Probably just some dust.
