Just wondering if any other bun moms have had children and if you ever let your baby (once they were older of course) meet the bunnies. I’ve been wondering if it would even be a good idea. My one bun is quite the lover and even with to get children and having his ears pulled (I did correct the girl who did it and he’s perfectly fine) he’s never nipped or been mean to anyone. I was jus thinking maybe if they grew up learning then they would be better with them once they were a little older instead of starting when they’re little jerks lol

I have a baby in my family who I let around my bun. She is not even two yet. I began by stroking Hopper and letting her pet him (gently) and since then I let her approach him whenever as long as I am there and she is only petting him or giving him a kiss. I think it is better when they are younger because studies show that being around things like hay, rabbit fur, dog fur, peanut butter, etc., while they are young decreases the risk of allergies. It also teaches them how to be gentle. A few times the baby in my family has gently touched his ears or tail and I would correct her softly and move her hand to where she can pet him on his back.
