Hi i am a new bunny owner. my bunny peanut is about 4 months old now. Today she was very quiet for some reason. Just yawning, stretch and just laying down. i opened the cage door and usually she will come running out but not today. I see she is still eating hay, pellets, drinking water and poo-ing. Should i be worried that she is sick? I did not feed her anything unusual so i am not sure what is happening.

My Bunny is 3 years old now and has ‘Want to be alone days.’ There is nothing unusual about it, like us we want our alone days sometimes, sometimes my Olly goes quiet if there is a lot of rain, so give it a few days and see, I’m sure she will pick up soon.

It sounds like she is just having a lazy day. So long as she is eating and drinking, pooping and peeing I wouldn’t worry. Oh of course assuming there is no injury or anything. By the way, my little boy bun is called Peanut

My bunny has her lazy days answering her energized days… I’d say your bunny is just being lazy or relaxed for the day! If your bunny is eating, drinking, pooping, and peeing… you have nothing to worry about!

Bunnies don’t always like going to the vets, there are smells we can’t smell and when they get back its like ‘What was that about?’ they can smell other animals and disease, but in a little while she’ll be fine.
