I have my bunny in my room and she digs into one corner of the cage. I am unsure why. I have puppy pads tapped to a card board box that is under a blanket that is also taped at the bottom of the card board box. But she is constantly digging. I do have toys and stuff that she can dig in but that does not work.

Maybe she is wondering what it is.

Maybe she thinks she can burrow out! My bunny loves going into the different rooms in our apartment, and when we close the doors, she will dig right at the space under the door, thinking she can dig a hole to get onto the other side! Ha!
