My bun is a pretty picky eater, but I’d like to make a few healthy treats for her. Do these look ok? http://jojodabunneh.weebly.com/homemade-treats.html. Has anyone ever tried making them?

They look alright, though I would modify some of them. Skip the honey, yoghurt, cornflour, and wheat flour. I’ve seen people use oats before but I would try without those too.

I’ve made these many times. I half the honey though. I find that’s a bit much.

Thank you! I can see how those might not be best so I’ll try to skip them entirely, or almost all the way. (My bun only like banana, romaine lettuce, hay, and pellets so we’ll see if she’d eat something that tastes of carrots…)

My Jake goes CRAZY for “popsicles” I make. I blend pellet dust, banana, a bit of oats, half a packet of honey, hay “dust” and a baby carrot in the blender. It makes enough mix for a whole tray of ice cubes (meaning each “cube” only have a little bit of unhealthy stuff). He LOVES them and it takes him awhile to enjoy it too.

Those sound so great for summer. I’ll have to try them!

I made the homemade bunny biscuits for Lissie and she LOVED THEM. I was so surprised! She’s terribly picky, and I’d fiddled a bit with the recipe, but she ate one so quickly! My guinea pigs enjoyed one too I’ll have to make a second batch using their food for them.

I ended up using half apple, half carrot, just a teensy bit of honey, but I added raisins as she loves them. I was worried because she doesn’t like carrot, but it worked out in the end

Cute little treats! Glad they were a success.

I really love this topic, I just want to bump it, so I can try a few more recipes if anyone else has any to share. Anyone else with some recipes?
