I’d not do anything, perhaps rinse it out with lots of saline eye wash for humans. Just try to get to a vet asap. I can’t determine the extent of the injury from the picture (of course).

Poor little darling, I hope he’ll be fine.

Baby needs to see a vet NOW. It looks like there are stitches in the lower part of the pictures. Did he have stitches that were torn, too?

Until you can get to the vet make sure his bedding is clean I recommend fleece right now because straw could get in the wound and wood shaving would get stuck in it and cause an infection. You could wipe around the wound with lukewarm saline or water to keep it clean. and other than that bring him to the vet immediately once its open.
Hope for the best and a speedy recovery

He’s in a lot of pain getting to the tomorrow morning. He licks the wound a lot I put saline solution on and got a better look at it with the hair wet. The penis is still intact which I was afraid it wasn’t since I couldn’t find it last night but it’s there he just can’t put I back in. Looks as though he might need some type of surgery to fix it up tho will update everyone tomorrow after we get home thankyou all for the advice!

Sending some {{{vibes}}}! It’s possible he isn’t able to retract the penis due to swelling…

One of my rabbits received a wound on her underside during the year and I had to use an iodine solution on it. I think it can sting though, so that may be something to do after he’s been seen and had pain relief. At the vet, they just kept a solution of this mixed in a regular spray bottle.

If the rabbits are outdoors, bring them in as flies would be attracted to the wound. Keep an eye out for flies indoors too.
I hope he is not in too much pain. They can get shocky or stop eating which compounds things. Keep an eye on his temperature.

There are a lot of blood vessels in that area, so even a small injury is going to produce a lot of blood. I’m glad you were able to clean it up enough to see that everything is still there. I agree with Jersey, swelling could be the problem. Keep the area clean until you get to the vet. And make sure to monitor his eating and pooping. The poor thing might have trouble peeing if there is swelling.
