Have two bunnies right now – a wonderful Mini Rex and an equally lovable but incredibly lazy Dwarf.  There is a breeding farm close by which has additional Mini-Rex’s available and the pictures have me teetering on a third.  Anyone with three?  Right now I have a male and a female (both fixed) and looking at possibly another male but wondering if there are challenges with three that I have not yet identified.

I only have two but I’ve seen a photo of a beautiful mini lop (my two are mini lops) at an animal shelter called Barney that I would love to bring home with me. Personality wise he sounds like my Peanut. Too bad I can’t afford a third

Ha! I have a mini rex, a dwarf, and a mini dutch. All neutered boys. If you add a third, you have to let your current two pick out the third (in my opinion). It will help bonding go by smoother as everyone will already be comfortable together, atleast a little bit. Things to worry about are your previous bonded pair splitting. If they split you might end up with three single bunnies or one of your old ones bonding with the new one and outcasting the other older bun. So you have to be ready to have three single bunnies, just in case of a worst case scenario
