Lonely bunny?

Hey everyone. I have a question for you. So I have 8 bunnies in my loving care. Accident that happened after I adopted a “female” Flemish mix that wasn’t a female. Well my two girls Missy and Luna were best friends and when Missy got pregnant I had to sperate them because of Missy’s bad attitude. Well that was in March. Luna has been by herself in her cage because Missy never decided that she wanted to be friends again. I worry about Luna being lonely because she constantly whines and cries. She seems healthy and when I play with her she stops for a little while but soon goes back to whining. Do you think that she misses her best friend?
If so, Missy now lives with Angle and neither of them want to get along with Luna. None of them are spayed because I can’t afford it right now but I was wondering if there’s a way to get them to like each other? I already know its going to be impossible to get the boys to get along but are girls the same way? Thanks for the help.

Rabbit fights can be very aggressive – horrific. You’ll probably wind up paying a lot more in vet bills than the cost of spaying -or worse

Maybe your vet would work out a deal since you have 8?

If you neuter the males you could pair a male with your single girl

Leave the two girls that are already bonded (that like each other ) together once spayed and spay them the same day so they both smell like the vet or they may reject each other

Yeah Missy and Luna were besties even without being spayed. I know I need to get them spayed but I learned that 1 in 25 rabbits die during spaying/neutering and it scares me to loose any if them. Plus it’s like $300 to spay just one bun. I’ve had a few bunny fights and I know they’re not pretty so far no major injuries though thankfully
