  Last night Weatherwax was a bit quieter than normal, but it was a bit later than normal when we put them “to bed” so I mostly put it down to that. I figured I would keep an eye on her though. Today she seemed okay this morning. But around midday we found that she has passed over rainbow bridge. We found her laying peacefully in a sunny patch on a blanket with my dog keeping her company nearby. My dog did love her, and had been spending more time near her today.

  I responded to your other thread, but I wanted to say again that I’m sorry for your and Ogg’s loss. It sounds like Weatherwax passed very peacefully in a comfortable and loving setting.

  It really warms my heart to read of your dog staying close to her at this time. : )
  I love how other animals and rabbits can sometimes be companions.
