        Hi guys!

I’m wandering, I have Tuten (my baby girl) since she was 1 month,  I watched her carefully when I’m with her and just know I finally start seeing her obsession with rubbing her chin particularly with my shoes. She is now 4 months, my question is, do rabbits rub their chin since very early age or is something that they develop like later on?

Just thinking about it as I never saw her doing this before and is so adorable!

Hi Claudia….. chin rubs are very common and she’ll continue to do so through her adult life.. she’s basically saying ‘that’s mine!’ lol, by putting her scent on it…. a bit like a cat rubbing her chin on furniture or people. Of course, another rabbit will come and chin rub over that spot, to say, “err, I don’t think so, that’s MINE’ !!

She’ll probably start nose nudging too, if she hasn’t already.. that’s saying, hey you, STOP what you’re doing and look at ME !! LOL

PS: I love tiny spelling mistakes that can make a really cute difference…. I just imagine you “wandering” in your house, just “wandering” aimlessly and pacing like Sherlock Holmes does, “wondering” about your bun

Please don’t apologise, your english is perfect…. and 8 out of 10 english speaking people would probably get that wrong anyway (a bit like “effect” and “affect”… always a tricky one that one….)

My Bramble loves a good chin rub, every day when we let them out his first job of the day is to run about sniffing everything to see if anything needs chinned sometimes Ron will chin a few things too but I’m pretty convinced he just does this to annoy Bramble so that he has to go round and do it again! Funny bunnies my two they love each other really but they do wind each other up too
