Hello, introducing my bun, Mr. Poe Wembley.  He’s a recent rescue from the animal shelter, and the shelter folks thought he was about 10 months old.  My teenaged kiddo and I are having lots of fun getting to know him.  He’s not my first bunny, but the first I’ve had in a while.  I’m remembering all my old bunny-proofing tricks!  It’s so wonderful living with a house bun.

Poe is able to run around the living room and balcony (very safe — well bunny-proofed for hazards/escape/predators) when we’re home, but at the moment when we’re not home, he has to go into his house (cage).  I’m waiting for an exercise pen to arrive so that I can arrange him to access from his house inside the apartment to the balcony when we’re away at work/school.  The balcony is about 36 square feet, so I’d feel much better knowing he can run around outdoors when he wants to during the day.

Anyway, I’m happy to find you all.
