I have a nine month old holland lop named Norma. I had originally been planning not to fix her at first but now I’m thinking I should? Norma is a semi-free roam rabbit, she’s only in her cage when we’re sleeping or at work, since we got her she was great at using her potty and very friendly but in the last couple months she won’t stop chasing me around, I can’t even cross the living room without kicking her. I have to shuffle when I walk so I don’t hurt her. On top of that she keeps pooing! When I’m sitting on the couch, she’ll circle my feet and leave a little ring of poos around me lol. Is this a mating thing? I know the circling is a mating dance, or at least I think but wtf is up with the poos? Also, they’re STINKY!! At first I thought it was gas but she’s not showing any of the signs of gas issues. Is this territorial? Will it go away if I get her fixed?
Thanks in advance for the advice. I’ve had two rabbits before but they never acted this crazy so I’m pretty confused.

It sounds like hormonal and territorial behavior, and it should stop when she is spayed. It could take a month or more after spaying her for her hormones to settle down, so don’t expect an immediate change. Spaying her will of course also eliminate the chance of uterine cancer which is prevalent in unspayed rabbits.

I also wanted to mention that if you look at the paragraph near the top of the page, it states that the subject of intentional breeding is prohibited.
