Well I read that bunnies become teenagers around 6 months and it lasts till they are maybe a year? And Finn had been a model bunny growing up so he passed 6 months and 7  and so on and I thought I had missed the teenage stage… Boy was I wrong XD

He is now exactly a year old and he is driving me crazy this past month :p I have to be more careful with the bunny proofing because he is knocking things over tossing stuff around. He tore my plastic plant up this morning…

I have now gotten used to finding holes in my sheets and pillows. And again for most of his life the only thing he would chew is cardboard. I dunno I guess I need to be extra good with the bunny proofing cause locking him in his cage for any amount of time makes him throw tantrums… I locked him in his cage one night cause I just could not sleep and he was jumping all over me and in the morning he has chewed up his whole blanket dumped rabbit toys in his water bowl and moved his litter box to the opposite side of the dog crate????

I dunno is this just normal teenage bunny behavior, will it pass? Or is something wrong?

Also another weird thing, Finn loves to lick me, but now he will be licking and licking and then he will bite me. Like not hard enough to break the skin but painful. Why is he doing that? He only does it when he is licking me but its only started this week.

Hopefully someone can decipher this all for me?

Is he neutered? If not, thats likely the cause of his new actions If he is, some rabbits go through hormone phases for about a week or two every once in a while after being neutered/spayed
