        Hey everyone, again!

I was wondering if someone could run me through a list of things I need to keep track of for Annie medically!

I know I have to check poops, which I do, nails, which I haven’t tried yet with her, teeth which I have no idea what to check or look for.

What else should I be checking and how often should I be doing it? I want to make sure she’s staying healthy and catch any potential problems early on.

I check my three’s bums almost daily to make sure they are clean and everything is looking normal. I dont know if anyone else regularly checks their bunny bums, but its helped me out a few times such as when my bunny had a UTI a few days ago and wouldnt have known if i didnt do my daily bum check

It’s a good idea to check ears for any gunk or bad smell (signs of ear infections) and check the bottom of her feet as part of your regular routine. If your bun has never had problems with sore hocks, then a check when you do the nail trim would be okay but if she has had problems in the past and/or has bald spots on the heels, more often is recommended.

She doesn’t like having her feet touched or being lifted enough to check her bum. What are the best ways to do that?
Also, how do I check teeth without getting bitten, she’s still nippy

I gently check out every bit of Chewie I can get access to in the guise of daily massages. He kind of melts and lets me lift and probe bits that he’d otherwise run off offended for

Im not sure the best ways to check a bunnys bum. My three allow me to lift them and carry them around with little to no problem (though Bombur will ignore me for a while as protest, lol) so checking is pretty easy with them. You can try lifting a treat above your bunnies head, and taking a peak while shes stretched out trying to get said treat
