I have large cat size litter trays which I fill with carefresh. Works great, however when my buns jump out, the carefresh sort of spreads out and leaves gaps so I then have to smooth it back out so that there aren’t any ‘bald spots’ Is there a solution to this that would stop the carefresh moving about so much?

We have a thick layer of hay on top of the wood pellets in Breintje’s litter tray. It gives him a bit more grip and a soft place to lounge in. He even sleeps in the thing, that silly little bunny!

Mine go through phases, at the moment they’re in a “I love flopping in the litter” phase – Well Buttercup mainly! She likes to ‘dig’ I.e. move all the carefresh and flop which is great til she needs to pee as then there’s no carefresh under her to absorb it! Silly bun indeed.
