Just curious! My bunnies rarely respond to their name although Buttercup will often respond to being called Monkey – I think she thinks that’s her name  She looks a little confused when I refer to Peanut as Monkey! I try to say their names a lot to them when I’m petting them but often I’ll end up talking to both at the same time so it gets a bit confusing anyway

Mine do, if I’m sitting across the room and call to one of them, their ears will often perk up, but the other’s won’t. It definitely took a little longer with two, than just one bunny. But they do know

            Mine do!

Blue has 3 total names he knows: Blue and Bluey if hes being my spoiled baby, and Blucifer if hes being a trouble maker. He will stand on his hind legs and look at me or he will run towards me when i call any of his names. He finds the name Bluficer hilarious, and usually ends up binkying around the room if i call him that. He thinks being a trouble maker is funny too, lol

Bombur is known by Bombur and Bombi. He doesnt run over if you call his name, but he will stop what hes doing and watch you, maybe even sniff in your direction in case you have food to bribe him with

Badger also has two names: Badger and Badgey. Hes usually called Badgey, but he only listens to that half the time. If you call him Badger, he will dart at you from where ever he is, then sit inches from you and demand attention. If you say “badger, badger, badger, badger, ect” in a bouncy tone, he will binky around the room. He picked out his name this way My boyfriend and i were bouncing names back and forth while Badger was exploring the living room and my boyfriend went “badger, badger, badger, badger, ect” and he slowly stuck his head out from under the couch and stared at as. My boyfriend did it again, and Badger binking across the room, LOL. Sorry for the little story

I’m pretty sure Olaf thinks his name is “Noooo.”

                LOL

Winter knows her name and comes when it’s said. Licorice gives a mere twitch of the ears.

Yep, and she will usually come after i call her, but there is like a 15 second “thinking” pause

Wooly just looks at me like “what?”. LOL I’m pretty sure he knows I’m calling his name, but he doesn’t come unless the naners are out. I have no idea about Leopold since he can’t hear me. I could call him whatever, he wouldn’t know the difference. I often wonder if he would though if he could hear. He’s a very smart boy and I like to think that he would. I also think I could have clicker trained him.

I’m gunna have to try my hardest to stop using the multitude of nicknames and just call them by their actual names!

Mikey – that story is adorable :p

Tolliver Sprout seems to perk up when you call him Bunny or Tolly… Tbh I usually call him Bunny haha so it’s my fault he doesn’t know his name He just sort of starts and pricks his ears up and swivels and eye at me. He won’t come when called or anything though like a dog or cat haha It’d be nice if he did!!
