After a week long vacation at grandma’s house, Zella is back at home and back to the normal life of a 4 month old bunny.

The only thing is that for the past two days, she’s been pooping only a fraction of how much she was before and at grandma’s house.

She is still eating and drinking fine! Her diet consists of a looooooooooooot of hay, about 1/4 cup pellets every other day and veggies!

I do admit, the veggies have been lacking. Could this be the reason?

Please let me know what you think,

        Thanks! <3

It could be the veggies, because they have a lot of water. If a bunny eats lots of hay, it needs lots of water. It could also be “sress” from having been away from home – rabbits are easily stressed, and stress changes the pH in the tummy.

Decreased amounts and/or size of poop is always an observandum. Can you get veggies for her now? Serve them freshly rinsed and soaking wet. Try to make her move around. If she stops eating or/and pooping, you need to call a vet.

Thank you!!! Got her fresh veggies. Headed to the store now to get some kale, her fave.
She has been moving around a lot but i will try to intise her to run even more. Thanks for your response!
