Both of my buns have 2 hay stations/2 litter trays – one outside their cage and one inside. The one inside is just a litter tray with a hay ball hanging over it near the water bottle. The one outside is their ‘main’ hay station, a litter box with hay at one end. Anyway I’m just curious to know how many hay stations you guys have ‘per bun’. Prior to their separation, they shared 2 litter trays/hay stations (again, one inside the cage and one outside) I’m thinking it would be much tidier to get rid of the hay ball and just have a ‘plain’ litter tray inside the hutch but unsure whether this is normal to not have hay inside. Most of the hay from the hay ball ends up stomped on in the litter trays anyway. It’d also make spot cleaning the inside litter trays a possibility – at the moment I’m dumping the entire contents everyday and replacing as hay gets mixed in with everything and I’m going through carefresh at an alarming rate!

One XL cat litter box filled with hay on one side, litter on the other, then two smaller litter boxes on the top shelf of the cage. They mainly use the two smaller ones to pee and the larger one to eat and poop. I spot clean all litter in the morning and change completely at night. Weve got one water bottle at the top, and a normal sized ceramic dog bowl on the bottom, opposite side of their litter

          EDIT: For three bunnies

I have a pair that share one litter tray inside their cage with a hay rack hanging next to it. I sometimes put extra hay upstairs and would like a hay rack up on the second level, but I’m waiting until I make other changes to that level. I do keep a water bowl both upstairs and downstairs in their condo though.

I scoop out soiled litter daily and replace. Every week or two I let the box go for two days and dump all contents and clean. Between daily cleans I probably only use about two scoops of litter, a full box change is about five-six scoops.

I have one litterbox in each room and two hay-stations in the living room and one in my bedroom. Bam spends more and more time in the bedroom where I have my writing desk and laptop, so he needs a hay station + water there.

Sterling has one large litter box in his pen. Bindi has 3 levels so he has 2 litter boxes. I offer hay in the litter boxes. When they come out for run time I bring their litter box into the living room.

My rabbit has one large cat litter box on the bottom floor of his condo,  it’s also his main hay station since I put a good amount of hay in there, and on his half level I have a small “diy”, if you can even call it that  , hay feeder which I keep filled most of the time.
