I think everyone must be off madly cleaning before posting a photo.

Meanwhile, I found this a few weeks ago. Oodles of ideas here: http://pinterest.com/best4bunny/great-rabbit-home-ideas/

its like a diy palace for a tiny little bun! (most of them genuinely look better than any room of mines) *huff*

Some of the stuff on Pinterest is out of control. o.O Even if I would secretly like to make Olaf a castle with a moat and kingdom!

This is his cubes and coroplast house. This was when I first put it together so it looks sparkling clean but he’s since chewed off and spit out a lot of the white vinyl on the front door and loft panels so it looks like a feral beast lives inside. I’ve moved it from this spot to against a wall and changed the liner from a blue yoga mat to a green one. (Note: Olaf doesn’t notice the edges of the yoga mat but if your rabbit is a chewer, be careful so they don’t ingest any of the material.)

Love that cage, pinknfluffy. What’s the square footage?

Thanks! Each grid is 14″ so it’s 42″ x 28″ and just over 8 sq. ft. Took forever to put together, but worth it!

Darn. I was hoping it’d be big enough to house 2 rabbits (possibly three ) once my two were bonded, but I’d have to expand if I did get that third… ah well. I have no skill with C&C cages anyway.

Sorry! They are easy to expand if needed, but obviously cost is an important factor. Even a 3×3 grid size square (rather than rectangle) could work with the right interior setup for two buns, I would think. They are also MUCH easier to put together if you have a rubber mallet. Something I was not aware of until after. ;]

They sound ever so difficult to put together. I’m not a DIY person, hence why I’m debating just popping up an xpen. Can’t go wrong with that. (They currently are in two seperate rooms)

I used cable ties for my C&C cage. Very easy to put together, but very time consuming.
