I am having difficulty identifying these trees. Do you get any outside? I just thought of jist googling said trees I’ve read that are ok.

Currently trying my hand at washing, soaking, and drying pine cones.

No worries. If I am not 100 percent sure they are perfect, I’ll get them from out rabbit house society. Just trying to be thrifty.

I can’t see any pictures, but generally researching the specific woods is a good bet. Apple, pine, and aspen are safe, as well as several other fruit trees provided you follow proper cleaning and drying instructions.
I don’t know if all varieties of pine cones are safe for rabbits, but I would assume so. Make sure you bake them on low heat for a while to get rid of bugs.

            Willow is great too.

All twigs from the prunus-family (plums, apricots, peaches, cherries etc) should either be avoided or cured for at least 3 months before they’re fed, but I’d rather avoid. If you cure them outside there’s risk of fungus etc taking hold. Baking them won’t degrade the toxin and boiling AND then baking them – it’s just too much trouble imo. There are other types of twigs that you don’t have to work so hard with =)

My bam esp love apple twigs.

Birch is considered safe but I just went to a lecture about trees in cites, and birches are good in cities because they absorb pollutants – but that capacity would also make them unsuitable as bunny food. If you’re in a rural area they’re fine though.
