I’ve read that it’s common for bunnies to change color a bit. In the last 6 weeks, my orange boy has developed black stripes across his face and ears and my girl has gone from a deep grey to a light grey and white color.
They’re about 3 1/2 and 4 months old. Is this their adult coat coming in or a seasonal molt? They’re shedding a bit but nothing too drastic.

Anybody else have pictures of their bunnies color change?

Bramble did the same thing, going from a very light brown (as in my profile pic) to almost fully grey before settling on a mix of the two, in winter his grey parts go more black.

My girls didn’t noticeably change, but my goodness that light gray is gorgeous on your girl!

I really noticed the black stripes on my orange bunny and I was so fixated on him that I didn’t notice how drastically my girl changed until I was looking back at some pictures.
Her face has some dark spots and her tail is solid dark grey on top but other than that she is a completely different bunny! I think she’s getting prettier while he’s definitely going through an awkward stage! Ha ha…

Oh how adorable. When we got Violet the breeder said she was chocolate. After a few months though at her 4H checkup they said she was smoke pearl.
