Lately Dorothy has been doing something funny with me. No matter where I am — sitting on the couch, sitting on the floor, standing.. she will jump on the couch or run at me only to lie down, all relaxed behind me. Is she trying to stay out of my sight for some reason? She doesn’t nip at my love handles back there, though she has done that once before in the past. She has also (a long time ago, when we first got her) jumped up to sit behind me and pee! She doesn’t do this anymore, but I was just curious if anyone else’s buns do this and any possible theories for this?

(She likes to hide in general, like any other bunny. She also likes to pretend she’s in a den or tunnel by hiding her eyes under my hand or my arm. Or I’m assuming that’s why she’s doing it, because she usually does that after she’s been digging a while )

Hi. I know my buns like to hide behind me since buns like to hide and feel safe. Mine lay behind me and poke me to let me know to pet them. Some buns are just shy. A couple of my other ones climb on me to pet them. It just depends on their personality!
