        Hello all,

I’m thinking of getting a rabbit but it would have to stay outside in a hutch. However, the lawn gets mowed weekly and I’m wondering if the lawn lower would be too loud of a noise for the rabbit. Does anyone leave their rabbit outside as the lawn is being mowed?

Bunnies can become used to loud noises (vacuum, etc). However, lawn mowers can be very loud, so you may want to consider bringing your bunny inside during the mowing. If there is any way you would be able to keep the bunny inside all the time, that is greatly preferable to both the bunny and your relationship with your pet.

That would be ideal but not everyone in the house wants a pet. I figure a bunny would be a good compromise as it can live outside in a hutch. I would take it for walks and to the park and run around with it but at home it would have to spend most of the time in it’s outdoor home. I’m still running through the logistics. I don’t work so I can take care of it all day no problem. Thanks for the answer.
