Hey, so I’ve had my rabbit Honey for about 4 years. She’s 6 now, so getting older. She was having poop problems a while back so we took her to the vet to get her cleaned up. Since then I’ve changed her diet (I made the mistake of feeding her those colorful seed-filled pet store pellets….oops) She’s been doing much better until last week. I’m afraid I haven’t been changing her bedding as often as I should have, and her bum fur is all matted with poo and urine. She also has t been using her litter box, for some reason. I am such a horrible bunny mom.

Her inner thigh and bum are losing a lot of fur, and the skin is very red, with a few little bumps. I’m also worried about her feet, because I let her run around on our patio, which has pretty rough concrete. To be honest I was not very informed about proper bunny Care when I got her, and I feel really bad now.

So, do you think her skin is infected?

I would suggest taking her to the vet to get her checked out. And no, you’re not a horrible bunny mom! Everyone makes mistakes!
