Just curious! And what do you give as treats? I’ve just bought some rose petals and sunflower petals which I think will make a nice treat for my two. I think fresh fruit would be good too. I like giving mine hay cookies, I know they can technically be given freely as an alternative to loose hay but I give mine hay cookies a couple of times per week as ‘an extra’. It entertains them for hours!

My bunnies are so spoiled and I have a hard time saying no so they get at least 3 tiny treats a day. I give them either fruit (very small amount, usually no more than once a day) and they really love the Oxbow cookies. If they are the bigger Oxbow cookies, I break them into pieces so they can have more than 1. They always get a treat after grooming too.

With fruit, it’s recommended to not give more than 1 TBSP per bunny daily and if you are giving packaged treats, check the recommended daily amount.

Mine get their naners every morning when I go in to “wake them up”. They like Oxbow dehydrated bananas. I give them each a piece. If the pieces are really big, I break them in half. Leopold will eat the Oxbow cookies, but Wooly doesn’t like them. They both like fresh fruit, but they are very picky about what it is. Apple, grape, and banana are their favorites. A small amount each day doesn’t hurt, unless your bunny has a digestive issue.

Bam gets two Oxbow strawberry/banana Simple Rewards every day. It says on the package that a bun can have 1-2 per day, and according to Bam, 2 is the more appropriate amount for him. Much better than just one. (Twice as good, actually.)

If I have peaches he gets a slice, because that’s his absolute favorite.

Since Bam likes food a lot, he gets his pellets as treats. Hand-fed or in his treat-ball.

I like the idea of giving them a little treat each day, I think I will hand feed it to them to reinforce our bond

Chester get a banana chip every afternoon. He might get an extra raisin/craisin or a tiny bit of fresh fruit too. He goes bonkers for food, to anyone that doesn’t know him well enough it seems like I never feed him!
