It’s not good. What is their reason for doing this?

Animals should have water at all times. Additionally, rabbits should have hay at all times. Rabbits need to constantly have food moving through their digestive system. Baby rabbits especially have a high metabolism so their intake/output is higher. Can you get your rabbit into someone elses care until you finish moving?

Sorry, if Ive worried you further. I want to add, because your rabbit is getting some food and water he should be okay (hopefully!) but is certainly not ideal. It could lead to problems and the person caring for your rabbit may not know how to detect those.

Why is he/she only providing water and food for a few minutes every 8 hours? That sounds really quite bizarre!
