        Hi guys,

Muffin was out to play last night and after a few hours jumped up on to the couch to be petted, i put a blanket round her and petted her like this for roughly an hour while i watched some tv i noticed she would sometimes grind her teeth and i know this can mean she is in pain but i’m wondering if it can have any other meanings? i cant imagine how she would be in pain, just wondering if she maybe needs a trip to the vet?

Quiet teeth grinding is the equivalent of a cat’s purr

Also body language will tell you if it is from pain or not. From the picture she looks content and happy. If she was sat hunched over and not coming over for attention I would be more concerned

Thank you Sazzakablazza It got me a bit panicked, the only other time i’ve heard her grind her teeth was when she was recovering from being spayed. Thanks again!
