Hi, I have a 2 year old lion head rabbit named Rufus. It’s November and 48 degrees outside right now. I have by rabbit out playing on the porch. My dog seems good to play in these temps and my rabbit is acting fine out here. I put a blanket out invade he gets cold. It’s also very sunny today. Are these temps okay to play in for a rabbit?

If your rabbit is an indoor rabbit youll have to be careful taking him outside. Rabbits can stand a 10 degree difference pretty easily, but anything more than that can lower his temp while hes outside making him sick or if its too much, send him into shock. If he is an out door rabbit and has his winter coat starting, he should be fine as he would be used to the temp dropping
