My rabbit is it’s displaying in an usual behavior. He is looking up towards the ceiling and rapidly moving his mouth, as though he is licking his lips. Occasionally he turns and grooms himself. He is still eating and using his litter. He stops moving his mouth when I pet him but resumes doing it when I stop. His behaviour is still lively and his body seems to be in shipshape. His ears aren’t too warm or too cold. His nose is not dripping. He doesn’t have any unusual lumps on his body. Should I be worried about this weird behaviour? I thought it might be a seizure but the Internet says that this is not a common sign. Thoughts?

Do you mean pointing his head upwards? That would be concerning.

If he’s not doing that, perhaps there something caught on his molars or elsewhere in his mouth that he is trying to dislodge?

I would be concerned about it too, it sounds as if he could be having trouble breathing. Maybe he has something caught in his throat, or maybe an illness that’s causing mucus to block his airway a little. I’d be getting him checked by a vet.
