I decided I’d start this as it’s useless to make a new thread for every session I have a question about.

The sessions are going to become more  frequent, by the way. We’re going to have one today…

          Make that two today!!!

We brought them to the master bathroom with nothing but them and a plate of greens set in the middle. The floor was tile, with one memory foam bath mat. This bonding session wasn’t magic or anything, but boy, that was the best yet!!! The past three had had fights, with the first total ignorance.

Well, this time Licorice ate while Winter did as well, but hopping around and exploring. No flops or grooming – and no spray bottle. Just gloves, dustpan, and two people. Winter never in that session bit him. Just sniffs. No mounting either, so we didn’t even have to use that dustpan or gloves. They ate within three inches of each other from the same plate. Wish I’d gotten pics, they were so cute when their heads collided. The session was about ten minutes and ended on a good note.

Anyway, we’re going to do that again after supper (with some more veggies) and see how it goes. We will still have gloves and a dustpan, of course.

Just completed another session, this one for five minutes longer. No humping, fighting, or nipping even five minutes after they’d cleared the veggie plate. The progress here is real.

They’ve had two sessions now with food which went very well, with them eating with no aggression within two inches of each other. Is it time to extend to twenty minute sessions still in the bathroom, but with no food so there’s more interaction? I figured I could alternate.
