Peter jumps up on my bed and pees and poos everywhere! Sometimes he’ll do it when I’m sleeping so I have no idea he’s doing it. He’s pretty much litter trained and at first was peeing on my bed every once in a while but now it’s almost every day. He’s about 1 year old and has been neutered for about 4 or 5 months now. WHAT DO I DO?? I want to let him free roam as much as possible but I can’t keep washing my sheets every other day! He uses both his cage and a separate litter box to do his business and I try to keep them clean

I had this exact same problem with my own rabbit, and she did it for several weeks. The way I did it was every time I found poos on my bed I’d quickly scoop them up and put them in her litter tray, this way she knew she wasn’t supposed to do her business here.

When I had this problem, I did a lot of research about it too, and a lot of people suggested as soon as the rabbit wees you scoop him up and put him in his cage for 10 minutes, but you have to do it like right after he’s done it else he won’t understand or learn. A lot of owners said that their rabbit never did it again, though I’ve never tried it, either due to the fact that I’ve never caught her in action or haven’t had the heart to lock her up, but it’s worth a go.

Many rabbits like to pee/poop (especially pee) on soft things like beds, couches, cat/dog beds, fleece bedding. You might be able to train them to stop, and there are all sorts of training methods discussed on this forum. But I suspect you will have to just keep them off the bed/couch.
