Bunny Room and X pens

So I mentioned earlier I’d be getting an x pen set up rather than my rabbits current c and c cages once they were bonded. I’ve been thinking about it, and would it be worth doing a bunny room instead? I could use a smaller, pet store cage as their home base (don’t worry – it’s five sq feet, I have two, and they have not previously lived in these at all). They’d still be free-range but my only concern is about Winter, who is an under cover athlete specializing in jumping and sliding under and between things. She’s managed to get under the DRESSER, on the windowsil, and under the bookshelf. On the bed as well but I don’t care about that.

Measuring the space in the dresser she gets through, it’s about 2 1/2 – 3 inches.

So I’m not sure if I should just do an x pen, use a different room (but there aren’t many other options &nbsp, or simply block off those areas with something. 

Also – what height x pen is best? I have no doubts of Winter’s ability to clear 36 inches…

Speaking from a point of view of X-pens and all (I have no experience with bonding, so I’m not able to help there) if you have the space for a bunny room, I’d recommend that. Maybe a small guest room, and clear out the dressers and all? A big, tall X-pen can work for a bun who is jumpy. I particularly love X-pens and their flexibility to adapt to most shapes. You could also block off an area of the house as a bunny “room.”
