I have two bonded rabbits, Klesh who is about 3 years old, and Bash who is almost a year old. The two were bonded well. Klesh was clearly dominant, but now they are starting to fight again. Bash is showing signs of dominance now and there is a constant power struggle. Bash now bullies Klesh and will chase him around and steal his food.

What should I do to fix this, or will the problem pass?

          Both are neutered?

Yup! Both are neutered. I had the oldest neutered when I got Bash and they bonded very well, now Bash (who is also neutered) is bullying Klesh

Is one moulting? I recently had to separate a bonded pair when one started moulting and it made her cranky. She was chasing and nipping, so I took the other bun out. Now she is well over her moult, they have been rebounded easily and are happily settled back together.

None of them are molting. Should I remove the aggressive rabbit or the one who is being bullied?

Are you able to move them both to a neutral space and/or try some stress bonding?

If they aren’t actually fighting, now is the time to recement their bond. you prob shouldn’t separate them, but I would definitely take action.

It is also probably a good idea to take them for a check up to make sure one doesn’t have an underlying illness.
