Hi all. Over the last two weeks, my bonded trio lost two members. My little Spud suffered a heart attack, confirmed by a necropsy. My baby girl Bean, died a week and a half later, but the cause is unknown.

The three hadn’t been bonded long. Maybe a month and a half? BUT little Bill was super loving on both the girls. He’s a big cuddler and groomer. I’m wondering if it would be advisable to adopt again so that he isn’t left alone? What are tell tale signs that a rabbit is depressed or lonely? How worried should I be for him?

Is he eating and drinking normal? Peeing and pooping ok? Playing and running around like nothing has changed? Is he more excited and playful since the two passed? If so, then it sounds like he is doing well. If not, and if his eating, playing, and toileting habits have started to decrease, he is likely depressed and lonely. If you could afford it, it might be nice for him to go on some bunny dates
