So for the last few nights I have heard strange noises and when I woke up it stopped, tonight it happened but I was awake, I found out Olly rubs his face on his blanket, then rolls all over it, bites it, then drags it into his cage, growls at it then holds it with his front paws and does a very fast little dance with his back legs, he’s done it 3 times tonight and now cashed out into a bunny flop, this happened before a while back after he went for his big boy operation, the vet said he will calm down, it was over a year ago, but he is doing his dances again, I’m not going to stop him or tell him off, I’m just wondering why he could be doing his night time dances again.

If it is hormone related, it should stop in a few more days. Some bunnies will still have hormone spikes every once in a while after being neutered/spayed

Bam had a relapse of hormonal behavior a year after his neuter. It lasted a couple of weeks, then it subsided and has not returned since.

Maybe that’s what Henry is going through. Post op hormonal spikes…

Oh, dear lord, I hope so.

Vienna, I think it is. The “post-neuter craze”-syndrome is common.

Time differs between individuals. I hope he’ll settle down soon.

So is this like when humans, a lady or a man, have an operation or something so they can’t make babies for what ever reason, but sometimes want to do some of this dancing?
