Hi! My rabbit, Moo, has developed a habit of digging in his litterbox. He will literally keep digging until all of it is emptied onto the floor. I have been cleaning it up several times day, and it is getting to be a pain. Has anyone had this problem and is there anyway to make it better? I use carefresh and pile hay 3 times day, and clean the box everyday. We have a high-sided litterbox as well. Thanks in advance!

My buns dig in their litter whenever they want another handful of hay. Sometimes they have hay left, but its not good enough for them

I think the Binkybunny store has a litterbox screen cover that is helpful for buns who throw their litter around.

I’m almost positive it’s not that he wants more hay. As soon as I pile it in, he’ll start digging away! But I’ll experiment and add more.

Sounds like he might be digging for the “right pieces” then
