Hi I’m new to binkybunny.com but I’m very excited to be here. Anyway, I have a buck who is about 6 weeks old. Could someone please tell me the ideal weight for an almost 6 week old netherland dwarf? Thanks so much!

Coincidentally, I was trying to find some info last week on this in regards to anothers members questions about ND’s.
I did come across a forum page that listed around 7-9oz for 6 weeks old but some had 14oz 6 week old babies. There seemed to be a lot of variations of weight at different ages.

You could always try contact a registered breeder to get a more accurate idea.

My Netherland dwarfs weighed roughly 450g at 8 weeks old. They are now 800g at 7 months old and have stopped putting on weight so I do not think they will get any bigger.
            I hope this helps!

There’s probably some variation in listed weights due to true and false dwarf nethies, something to keep in mind.
