I am looking for a place that sells inexpensive rabbit toys, specifically safe baskets. I have made my buns a ton of homemade toys, I really want to get them a digging basket(s) that is safe for them to chew on. Any advice on a place that sells rabbit toys would be awesome thanks!!!

This website, the Binky Bunny store sells rabbit toys, including baskets or wicker items. Shipping depends on where you live, so it may be best to mention which country you are in to make suggestions based on that in case you’re out of the BB shipping zone.

I use cardboard boxes for digging boxes because they are cheap and Luna loves ripping them to pieces. Lowes sells them for $0.75-$2.00.

Newspaper is a great shredding/digging toy if you’re looking for something really inexpensive. Toss shredded newspaper into a cardboard box and it can also be fun.

Sure is! But some rabbits end up having the habit of eating newspapers. Which can unlock the door to GI Stasis or Constipation due to it clogging the Rabbit’s Stomach. Also the ink in the paper can cause some more issues with the rabbit’s health! Pretty satisfying, but kind of dangerous.

Breintje has a thing for cheap household items: tp rolls and paper kitchen towels. He’ll throw them, bite them and dig in them. Loads or fun for a couple of cents!

My rabbit Storm prefers a cardboard box for shredding much more than a basket, so I’d suggest trying to get a cardboard box and using that instead, but if you’re really set on a basket, the Binky Bunny Store has some.

Check out The Busy Bunny store also. You can get single or packs of baskets.

I make cardboard mats. I also make cardboard and willow stick mats. They absolutely LOVE it!!! They will shred it up to nothing!
