  Yesterday Winnie and I went to meet the little lop! andd**drum roll please***

  I present to you…PEPITO!!!
  
  Winnie approved! I was so scared she wouldnt but she did!
  
  There was 2 buns we put her with and she chose him! I named him Pepito with the middle name Gambino(short legs); PePe for short!
  
  Never seen a bun who likes to just lounge on their back! but he does! He looks black and white but he is really gray and white!
  
  He is still small atm, his head is literally the size of a ping pong ball(literally); the woman said Lops take a little longer to grow into their heads…is this true? anyone know about this?
  
  I am happy to give him a good home, he was in the smallest cage I had ever seen

  Welcome, PePe! That face! He is such an adorable boy.
  
  I had the reverse experience Odette was all head and ears when she was younger. But their heads do broaden as they age. Hers has been getting broader and thicker in the last few weeks and she’s six months old almost.

  Yeah, Pepito is a holland lop! His head is small! lol it looks big in pics but its little! She said his head will get bigger with age!
  This is my first time ever owning a lop!
  He is precious though! She had him in a cage that was probably maybe 2 ft long by 1 ft wide and it was divided into 3!!! he had no room to barely turn around, was very sad! I put him in his big cage(big enough to fit a mini pony) last night with a box and he literally played all night long! ran in circles over and over!
  He may not be from a shelter but id like to think I saved him!

  I put Zou on her back when she was young (I hadn’t been on BB then ! ) so I know (now) you shouldn’t really, however tempting it may be…. so just be wary. Zou decided enough was enough when she was 8 months old and I haven’t been able to pick her up since… (but all-you-can eat floor cuddles !!)

  Vienna yes i was sooo excited when winnie didnt go straight for the jugular!
  I know i shouldnt do that, i had just got him home and was doing a fully body check up on him! And snapped a quick pic lol winnie does not like the process of being picked up( chasing, tricking, capturing) but does not mind being held. I usually trick her into something and capture her that way lol

  Lops are wonderful. My last three bunnies have been lops. I had an REW and a Dutch before that and they were wonderful too.
  
  Hollands stay small, but my Holland (he was light gray tipped) had a huge head. I didn’t get Vanderloo until he was maybe 2, so he was full grown and less than four pounds. But his personality was huge. That was one happy, funny, life-loving bun. You and Winnie will fall in love with PePe (if you have not already— which I suspect you have ).

  How sweet! Yes i love him already, i’ve been at work all day and i just cant wait to go home and give him cuddles.
