I recently decided to go back to college in order to pursue a masters degree. The college is three hours away from my home and technically across a border so commuting was out of the question.Which meant i’ve had to move into student accomadation-I’m living off of my meager savings account lol.
The only landlord that was willing to let me bring my ‘rodents’ with me, was in a house sharing with four 1st year college students.

        It is a horrible house.

And as housemates go, they aren’t exactly made for the real world…ie they unplug the(full) fridge-freezer every now and again to save on electricity… or they often leave the front door open at nighttime(not just unlocked…actually open.) And have 0 concept about cleaning things…including leaving glass on the floor in the morning.
        But I digress,
because my bunnies LOVE this place. I have never seen so many binkies and bunny 500’s and flops in the entire year I’ve had them as I do in a week in this place. I don’t know how to break it to them that this isn’t going to be our forever home! They are going to be devastated when we go home for Christmas..

Here’s a small photo dump of them in ‘their’ new room…which they very kindly let me stay in as long as I provide them treats.

As much as I love all buns – the lionheads just have this ‘thing’ with their head & face, little moustaches and fuzzy head !!
They look really at home !!

Good for you for going back and doing the student thing…. if there is a will there is a way.
Or as the French say rather more bluntly, “If one wants, one can”.

You have seniority. Tell those undergrads it takes more electricity to start and stop a fridge and return the temp to normal than to run one constantly.

The space is big and the buns have a great living space. I’m glad the move went well and is over for you. Best of luck with your Masters.

Haha Im really perfecting my passive aggressive note writing. (They go out at night and sleep all day) Only reason I know I live with other people is that the kitchen is always devastated in the morning-I could be living in a house with gremlins though.

Vienna- I adore lionheads because of their wonderful side burns, they look like little old men!! Yumi is actually part angorra, her coat just hasnt grown back since she went through a massive shed(Thank god she didn’t do that when I first moved in, we didnt have a hoover!!)

The house is right beside a vet clinic though, which is a major bonus (what with Sampras the disaster bunny) the vets are really great…even though Sampras took an instant dislike to her and refused to behave on the examination table…

LOL – I’m thinking of naming newbie ‘Hoover’ as he literally does. Everything in sight !! LOL
But in french it would become “ooooo-ver”.

                Maybe Dyson? Sweep?

Dface, the buns look so happy! Your housemates sound like material for endless stories you can tell to your grandchildren one day =)

Not that I’m biased or anything but lionheads can do no wrong. Gorgeous!

I would really love a lionhead x lop bun, if I’m honest I think they are just the most precious, teddy bear like creatures in the world!

But yeah they really love it here! Even Sampras has started to turn a corner with his Pasturella infection(..8 weeks later…)

Yumi has actually taken to growling when she hears mens voices near my room and stamping her feet enthusiastically, (I normally stop her as soon as she starts cause she fairly hammers her foot down and I dont want a sprained foot!)
I thought she might be exhibiting territorial behaviours, but she’s chill enough when it’s female. Male tones must seem more alarming to her!

Yeah, but she’s a bit rubbish cause she’s so easy to ‘disarm’. She’ll go from ears pinned back to purring with one well placed rub. Attention is her Achilles heel.
