        Hi all,

I have two 4 month old bunnies. Today after they ate their greens one of them sneezed about 10 times in a row and twisted her head a couple times while she was jumping around. I immediately went to google to see what that it could mean. After that one time she hasn’t done it again so I wasn’t too concerned. But a few minutes ago I was down playing with them and noticed both of their noses looked a little wet. I’m not sure if it’s water or not, but I’m sort of freaking out. They are both eating/drinking/playing perfectly fine.

Should I be concerned? Can a runny nose be normal at all? I can’t take them to a vet until Monday, but I also don’t want to make a trip with them if it’s not necessary. Don’t want to stress them out!

If it’s clogged looking at all (like snot and actual running) then you should take them to the vet as soon as possible because rabbits can’t breath through their mouth and therefore have trouble breathing with a clogged nose. However it it’s just a bit damp looking around the entrance and not clogged at all then they are probably fine

Thank you for responding! I was able to snap a picture and it looks a little yellow to me now. I plan on taking them to the vet tomorrow. Sometimes it’s hard to get an appointment with the vet, so I hope they have an availability. In the mean time are they ok if they are still eating and playing? I’m afraid they are just going to all of a sudden get really sick. I don’t know how fast this progresses if it’s snuffles/pasturella. I’m in panic mode.

EDIT: I guess the photo did not work
