Why does my bunny lift her front paw when I rub her beard?

  She is a Holland Lop. And she is 1.6yrs old. I’m not sure if she does that because she is trying to keep my hand under there, or if it’s something else. Just wondering if anyone experienced this besides me. She ONLY lifts her paw up as if to keep my hand under her beard. However she does not like it if you rub under her chin(which is closer to her mouth), because she hops away. So why does she do this when I rub under her beard? Does she like it when she does this? Has anyone else experienced this?

  My bun will often lift his paw and place it on my hand as if to keep his balance if I rub under his chin.

  My Chito does that too- i think it tickles(?) a little when they’re rubbed over there and it’s a reflex like how you’d pull your neck down when someone touches over there :]
