Hi today I went to check up on my bunnies and noticed one of them had a bald spot above her nose (she has another bunny in her area), I was wondering if this was normal? Or did the other bunny end up attacking her? I’ve had these bunnies for about a month now and never seen anything like this.

Keep an eye on the area to make sure the skin remains clear, clean, dry, and a healthy pink. And the try to dissuade the bondmate from grooming her face for a while. The fur should grow back.

You didn’t say how old your bunnies are and if they are spayed and or neutered. In case they aren’t spayed or neutered, if they are approaching puberty, which can start as early as 3 months of age, they should be separated until they can have their surgeries, then you can rebond them a few weeks later. Even if they are the same sex and there is no worry about litters, unaltered rabbits can fight and cause severe injuries to each other, when their hormones come flooding in.
