I apologize, I will try to post a video next time, but I will try my best to describe.

So Dorothy sometimes does a basic kinda teardrop hop, then sometimes she does the traditional binky where she kicks her legs out and twists. But sometimes she gets sorta low to the ground and hops laterally while keeping her focus on me, or she will leave her front paws more or less in place and just use her back legs to pivot her body while she hops, so that she is moving around but still keeping her focus in one direction. I’ve seen dogs do something similar when they’re playing with their owners, just without the hopping. I was curious to see if anyone has seen their bunny do this before. The impressoin I get is that if it’s done during play, it’s basically a binky rather than a sign of  “watch out” or “back off.”

Oh I just thought of a better way to describe.. it’s like she’s about to pounce on something, like ME. Haha

Yes it does sound very much like a binky, some binkies look very odd to us because we don’t do them, I’ve seen half binkies and let my Olly do what he wants, sounds like she is saying. “Look at me Human.”

She’s provoking you to play with her. When she does that pivot hop try to use your hand to make a crawly “spider” motion on the floor toward her and some playful noise and see how she reacts.

Haha that’s too funny, “provoking me to play” I do think that’s probably what it is !
